India always claims to be the biggest democracy in the world but yet it's actions against it's minorities and against the people of Kashmir say something else. There have been many protests in the Indian Held Kashmir [IHK] but the most recent one differ from the rest. The Kashmiris are protesting the "mystery deaths" of 2 women, aged 17 and 22. Their families have accused Indian security forces of abducting, raping and subsequently killing them. If you wonder why this is the first conclusion their families came to then i'll let you know that the indian troops are responsible for gang raping/molesting over 9,864 Kashmiri girls since 1989 [even young girls of the age of 13]. India is responsible for even more horrors in the region. My heart bleeds when i read these news and i feel saddened for my Kashmiri brothers and sisters. Inshallah one day when we win our war against the taliban we can concentrate on freeing the rest of Kashmir from the brutal indians...

Things will return to normal soon in Pakistan but Kashmir has to wait for a better and more effective Pakistani leadership to free it.
God help those who help themselves, Kashmiris are still not united totally.

Man, why dont you recognize that elections held recently in Kashmir have not elected a anti-india party.?? You should ask people's representative Omar Abdullah what he thinks about Kashmir in India. Dont tell India has fooled EU,UN and USA in holding rigged elections!!!

how can a region who holds rallies against india every chance they get vote a pro-indian party. This proves that the elections are nothing but a big scam.
Mr. Captain, you can never understand this because probably you have always lived either under army rule or in an army centric democracy. Our kashmiri brothers n sisters can raise their protest because they have a right to do this in our constitution.
indian democracy is just a name. There is no democracy in the world that supresses people and yet india does it. There is no democracy in the world that allows the killing of it's minorities and yet the indian GOVERNMENT does it. There is no democracy in the world that allows a genocide to take place and yet india has done that to our kashmiri people. I'd rather live under army rule than this flawed out government. You guys are nothing but blinded people who can't face the truth and when the truth is in your face you deny it. Much like slumdog.
