Islamia College is an educational institution located in the city of Peshawar of the North-West Frontier Province (NWFP), Pakistan. It was opened on October 1, 1913 by Nawab Sir Sahibzada Abdul Qayyum and Sir George Roos-Keppel. Despite its name, the college primarily educates its students in arts, humanities and sciences. It was a constituent college of the University of Peshawar until 2008 when the college was turned into a university.
